The moment a pick is posted we publish a fingerprint of it: a SHA-256 hash of the match, kickoff, outcome, odds and a secret random salt. The salt stops anyone from guessing the pick from the fingerprint. After the match is graded we reveal the pick and the salt, and anyone can recompute the fingerprint to confirm the pick was never changed. Tips also lock at kickoff and after the first purchase.
